Will the 2017 Ford Escape have SYNC 3?

As promised, Ford announced that they would be adding CarPlay and Android Auto to all 2017 vehicles that have SYNC 3 technology. The 2017 Ford Escape will be the first 2017 Ford vehicle with CarPlay and Android Auto ability, the 2017 Escape is due to arrive at dealerships in May of this year. CarPlay is the Apple software which will bring Maps, Phone, Messages, Music, Podcasts and a number of third-party apps such as Spotify to the in-dash multimedia system. CarPlay can be controlled with Siri and the vehicle’s built-in controls.   (more…)
